Home care, nutritional counseling, and body awareness are an essential
part of your treatment. Modalities that can also be included during treatment
are :
aromatherapy, reflexology, herbal medicine, moxibustion and cupping.
JoAnn’s philosophy is that Body Awareness leads to Body Wellness. Her
goal:
to bring clients an awareness of body patterns and instill lifestyle
changes to bring about wellness. Treatments are specific to your needs;
exploring the root cause, breaking adverse patterns and introducing healthy
ones.
“In our society, there is a great disconnect between our body and minds. We push ourselves so hard that we become chronically ill, yet we are unaware. We ignore the pain, accept the headaches and make light of our stress. To become well, we have to work at it. It feels good to feel good.”
Outside of practice JoAnn loves spending time outdoors. In her spare time you can find her knitting, kayaking, camping, cycling or hiking with her dog.
JoAnn brings compassion, support and warmth to her treatments.
She encourages her clients to channel the healing power of their bodies
and feel the best ever.
